We’re seeing too many of the same problems repeat over the last few years.įurther to that, the manner of the performance - ragged, tactically inept, incapable of adjustment, shambolic in the second half - has torched any feeling that this can be anything more than a streaky team who may well win a collection of games this year and raise spirits but they’ll collapse as soon as they face a meaningful opponent in a meaningful contest. However, I have no belief that they’ll be able to guide this franchise back to a deep playoff run. I’m inclined now to face a stark reality that the current regime might be able to make the current roster more competent than we saw against the Rams.
